Would you like to gain hands-on experience while studying and work on real software development projects?

We are looking for a motivated and curious Software Development Intern to join the BISS team and develop their programming skills in a professional software development environment.

During your internship, you will work as part of our Research & Development (R&D) team, collaborating with experienced software engineers on the development, testing, and improvement of real solutions. You will also have the opportunity to learn modern development practices, teamwork processes, and AI tools that are increasingly used in software development.

What will you do?

During the internship, you will be involved in different stages of the software development process:

• assist with software development, testing, and maintenance;
• help identify and resolve issues (debugging);
• write clean and maintainable code;
• help prepare and maintain technical documentation;
• collaborate with developers and product owners on implementing new features;
• take part in code reviews;
• use modern and AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a student who already has a basic understanding of programming and is eager to develop these skills through practical experience.

We would like you to:

• be studying IT, Computer Science, or another related field;
• understand programming fundamentals and know at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript;
• have basic knowledge of Git and version control;
• have an analytical mindset and an interest in new technologies;
• be willing to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with the team;
• have good communication skills and excellent English language skills.

What will be considered an advantage?

It will be a plus if you already have experience with:

• web, mobile, or cloud development;
• databases and SQL;
• REST APIs;
• CI/CD processes;
• AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar solutions.

We will also value personal IT projects, a GitHub profile, or a project portfolio - these can be university projects or projects you have developed independently.
